I know the pandemic has been a challenge for all of us and has devastated most of our Irish American Heritage Month and St. Patrick’s Day face-to-face activities. I want to take a moment to share with you the links for our Irish American Heritage Month virtual events and ask that you share them directly with you members and have at least one person from your State Board attend each event.
Please share and use these events on your webpages and social media to promote these activities in your community as well.
This Saturday’s event will set the bar high with our great friend Ruan O’Donnell of the University of Limerick live from Limerick Ireland. Event begins Saturday March 6 at 1:00 PM Eastern, 12:00 PM Central, 11:00 AM Mountain, 10:00 AM Pacific and 6:00 PM Ireland.

In addition to our IAHM Events, we have also begun the 2021 Easter Appeal for Project St. Patrick Grants. It is our hope that every division and board will find a way to provide one $500 grant for Seminarians and Religious students and that divisions over 100 members will have a goal of two grants. Our recent webinar about Project St. Patrick can be seen at: https://youtu.be/uEmrkM-w4tw
This event features a surprise guest Father James P. Burns who developed the original Project St. Patrick Program. The keynote speaker for the event is the Most Reverend Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan of Waterford & Lismore Ireland. Forms for Project St. Patrick can be found online at:
Donation Form : https://aoh.com/gobansaer/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/2021_Project_St_Patrick_Donation_Form.pdf
Division Diocese Contact Form: https://aoh.com/gobansaer/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/2021_Division_Diocese_Form.pdf
The diocese contact form is critical. Without this information we will not be able to get applications from your local seminarians and religious. This form must be updated every year! Project St. Patrick’s takes us back to our founding purpose of protecting the clergy. Today we still assist the clergy with this key program to help those called by God to Vocations.
Below you will find links to all of the upcoming IAHM Events which include three masses.
Your participation in these IAHM events will make the events better. Those joining the events via Zoom Registration will be able to ask questions at the end.
