I just received the Governor of Virginia’s proclamation of Irish American Heritage Month.

In the same email I also received a proclamation of Viet Nam Veterans Day.  Brothers who were on our rolls in 2009-2010 will recall this was a Virginia AOH Veterans Affairs initiative.   Former delegate Ed Scott (30th district/Orange County) was instrumental in getting this through the House of Delegates and approved by the  state senate.  I was presented with a copy of the original proclamation which read “Welcome Home Viet Nam Veterans Day”.
