Many AOH members attended the funeral and repass this past weekend for AOH member Pat Garrity.  Pat was a dedicated Ballyshaner and Ancient Order of Hibernians member of the Herbert-Cady DIV in Alexandria, VA.  As a dedicated community servant, he was often found cheering on the Washington Nationals, supporting local merchants for the AOH Cigar Nights, or assisting with  Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town Alexandria as a member of the Ballyshaners.  

Pat attended every Ballyshaner meeting in the past 3 years to ensure that Pat Troy’s vision of an Old Town parade lived on.  Pat was a gentleman, and kind soul.  May he rest in peace knowing that he made a difference and will be missed.
