As we wait for the season’s first snow, I wanted to share early numbers I received from the national campaign. Virginia is off to a good start. Four divisions and two individuals have already contributed. All the divisions matched or surpassed last year’s donation, and one of the individual donors is new to the campaign.
If you can give something to this worthy endeavor, please do so as soon as you can. The national committee plans to award grants by the end of February and so will be able to base the amounts only on what is received by early February. Nevertheless, my last message was not clear, and donations are indeed accepted and credited all year. In particular, any donations received in late February will certainly be eligible for the special recognition for donations of $1,000 or more. Five divisions, as well as the State Board, qualified last year. Let’s help keep the lights on for these critical causes.
Donations can be sent through the PayPal page linked to the “Donate to FFAI Christmas Appeal” box on the AOH.com website, or by checks made payable to “AOH Christmas Appeal” and sent to:

If you have questions about whether your contribution has been credited, or about how to submit your contribution, or if I can help in any way, please feel free to contact me.
