AOH members from VA and Washington D.C. had a great time last night at the Capitol Hill Club downtown Washington D.C. for the Warrior Canine (K9) Connection fundraiser. WCC raises and trains service dogs who are given to veterans.
With the emcee from CBS, members of Congress, Medal of Honor Recipient COL (Ret) Paris Davis, and Irish Tenor Anthony Kearns singing wonderful Broadway songs, it was a great night.
We ended the night toasting to the military with the Fighting 69th Unit Historian and Hibernian, COL (Ret) James Tierney, with their own Irish Whiskey.
There may be another program with Anthony in December so I will pass that info on as it comes in.
