Calling all Hibernian golfers!  Come out and support the General Thomas F. Meagher Division by participating in their upcoming 11th Annual Shamrock Charity Golf Classic to be held on Monday, 13 May 2024, at the Lake of the Woods Golf Course in Locust Grove, VA.  Back at the club house after the tournament, the players will gather to enjoy a wonderful prime rib meal.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The Gen. Thomas Meagher Division in Fredericskburg is proud to be holding our 11th Annual Shamrock Charity Golf Classic at the Lake of the Woods golf course in Locust Grove, VA on Monday, 13 May (rain date on Monday, 20 May). Please see the Player and Sponsor sign up sheet for all of the information for the event. As in the past, we will be having a delicious prime rib buffet lunch followed by winner recognition and raffle prizes! Whether you are a player or sponsor (or both!), we look forward to working with you to make this year’s tournament fun and an exciting way to start your summer.

For over thirty-five years, the General Thomas F. Meagher Division has been the Fredericksburg area entity of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and consists entirely of volunteers – your friends, neighbors, clients, and customers. We exist for two main reasons: to promote Irish heritage, culture, and traditions, and to financially support approved charitable entities in the area. In the past six years alone, we have donated over $70,000 to provide financial support for causes such as scholastic grants for deserving students, to support youth summer work camps, assist outreach programs, and to assist other charitable organizations in the local community.
