Just a reminder, the theme for the Saturday evening banquet at the Convention is a 1920’s theme. 1920’s attire is optional, but the concensus is, several women will be wearing their flapper dresses and several men will be wearing their fedora hats and zoot suits.
The LAOH will be holding a silent auction at this year’s Convention August 20 – 22. Here is a preview of some of the items available.
The AOH and LAOH Mychal Judge Divisions of Triangle dropped off their food contribution on 7-24-21 to the Hilda Barg Shelter for the Homeless. Long awaited Divisional dinner gathering in May at the new Lost Fox Hideaway in Loudoun to raise funds for the dessert event for the Veterans in Martinsburg. Former State Chaplain Fr. Timothy Harris T.O.R. was in town and made the evening a total success!
On the weekend of June 18th, AOH State along with the Col. Thomas J. Cunningham Jr. Division (Loudoun County) participated in financially supporting the Regional Feis Fleur de Lis Irish Dance Competition in Herndon, VA. Bishop Michael Francis Burbidge (Bishop of Arlington Diocese) thanking VA State President Jay McCarthy for recent state donation to Catholic Charities. An additional donation to the Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Richmond was also recently made.
